So what did I make? Little magnetic flags for my son's vintage globe. I bought him the globe for Christmas at a local thrift store. He had been wanting a globe and I loved the antique feel of this one. He likes to look at the globe occasionally, but its not exactly the most interactive toy. To make it a little bit more interesting and engaging, I made little world flag magnets that he can stick all over the globe.
To make the magnets, I used google images and searched world flags. I cut and pasted an images of all of the flags into a word document then printed it on magnetic printer paper (Staples Brand). I cut the flags out and started stuck them all over the globe. I also printed out a key (not pictured) so that I will be able to tell my curious four year old where all the flags go. As you can see, I still have a lot of flags to cut out.
